Emerson — The Heart Behind Emerson Home Services

At the heart of Emerson Home Services is Emerson himself—a business owner who believes that doing the right thing matters just as much as doing a great job. For Emerson, roofing isn’t simply about putting a roof over someone’s home. It’s about protecting families, earning trust, and standing behind the work his company puts its name on. He takes pride in providing quality craftsmanship and making sure customers receive honest answers, fair guidance, and a roof they can feel confident about.

His passion for the business comes from something simple: he genuinely cares about people. Emerson believes that being a successful business owner means treating customers the way you would want your own family to be treated. That means being upfront, keeping promises, doing quality work, and never cutting corners just to make a quick dollar.

It’s that philosophy that gave rise to two ideas that have become part of the identity of Emerson Home Services: “Do the Next Right Thing” and “Roofers for Life.”

“Do the Next Right Thing” is more than a slogan. It represents the way Emerson believes a business should operate—one decision, one customer, and one roof at a time. When faced with a choice, the goal is simple: do what’s right for the customer, do what’s right for the team, and do what’s right for the job.

And “Roofers for Life” represents the bigger picture. Emerson doesn’t want EHS to be a company that simply installs a roof and moves on to the next house. He wants to build relationships that last. To him, being a roofer means being someone a customer can continue to call on, trust, and rely on long after the final nail is driven.

More Than Roofing

Emerson’s commitment to people doesn’t stop at the doors of Emerson Home Services. He is also deeply invested in the community and believes in supporting organizations that help people rebuild their lives.
